I stood and looked about the assembled people, a thoughtful look on my face. Many here I'd known for years, some much less. But one thing I knew was that nearly all called GS home and that they felt strongly about it. So strongly in fact, that some of the men had foresaken much to see to the well being of our home. My eyes settled on Emerald Forest and then Xertog, smiling towards both of my brother Captains. After a few ihn, they moved elsewhere, seeking another...
The Council of GS is an august body, my friends, one made up of men that have given much of themselves to see to the betterment of our home. The list of those who have served is long and the men on that list some of the best Goreans I have ever known...
Tonight, the Council will grow stronger as another name is added to that list...
