Well now, Rollo, in real life, do we not know the job of most of ouor friends and acquaintances? Isn't that one of the first questions we ask on meeting a new person? "What do you do?" I gives us a sort of "handle" on people. We get some idea of possible interests we might share? For example, I ran into the former animal control officer the other day, and I have a dog I got from the shelter when she was there. UI showed her a picture, and she remembered him and was delighted to know how he was doing. We sat and chatted for an hour while waiting for the Dr., and had a pleasant time we would haave missed hadd we not know what each of us "did".

My Jarl for example is very proud of the fact that He is a teacher, He achieved His degree late in life and is the only member of his family to have gone to university.
