But as I remember it, the Piazza was the front of the tavern, but there was the back door, the roof stairwell from the tarn cot, and even a way in from the practice yard through the armoury and bath house... so there are several ways for ppl to get into the GS tavern .....but the Piazza is off the front door....

on the subject of uncollared slaves being allowed in the Tavern....my thoughts....if a slave was collared to GS and begged release....if they enter....they are collared....for if they want to visit....then why not let them just stay and serve here....why grant them protection....to keep coming back and eluding a collar....
if the person is new....and doesn't know the ways of Gor....then i say....let them learn slowly....if they are ready for a collar....or are really serious about it....then collar them to GS....and let them learn...grow....and be a beautiful slave

I agree with Rollo... honoring collars is one thing, but restrictions were often broken, for whatever reason, in the books. Part of going into a rough and tumble, seedy paga tavern should be the fear of encountering come what may, restrictions or not.

In the whole usage thing that was written up a while back, tavelia, situations just like that were provided for. Slaves who kept coming in but evading collar were NOT to be chosen for hauling to the alcoves over the GS slaves who were there faithfully doing their thing.
