How long should slave wait for a Free on a RTI?

a slave in is tavern doing shores, and sees a Patron on the Piazza. She enters the Piazza to find that Patron has already been RTI'd. How long should she stay? Or is it acceptable to return to the Tavern to finish her chores?

but also the rooms can be tricky... a person can post that they are rti'd.. but their name stays as if refreshing.. which usually if a person is gone over 5 or ten minutes the name disappears.. if we go back to another room.. how do we know if the person is really back? without running back and forth.. or just staying and risk getting in trouble for not going to serve when they do come back?

I would say it depends on what exactly is the RTI, and if the person just popped into the Piazza, but leaving no entrance post........is it a pledged Free, non pledged free.........could be a lot of factors that a slave would have to consider, IMO

what I normally do in a RTI if a slave is present I tell them before I go that they are free to greet, serve or leave while I am away...perhaps the frees that come in and there are no slaves present could leave a similar message to any slaves that may enter after they went RTI

2. Greetings:
All Free Person greet other Free Person first, with "Tal" the gorean equivalent of hello, slaves are greeted with "greetings". To show the proper respect, if there is a Captain of Gorean Shores present, He should be greeted first before all others. Any of the Council of Captains would be happy to help you and answer any questions you may have. An Advisor would also be able to help you with questions. Do NOT greet a personal slave before she is granted permission into the tavern and a tavern slave before she has posted an entrance. Its also best to save your "Tal" or greeting until a Free Person and/or slave has posted an entrance.

if He ordered that lengthy of a serve, and aware He is ordering it from a white silk then the least He can do is afford her the time to serve it properly and she could say...Master the girl is a white silk and learning serves...if You allow her the time to prepare and serve she will do the very best to her ability

off the menu items, easy fix, on the menu, a girl needs more practice typing, agree it is a bit taxing on other free when a person orders a huge meal for himself and force others to wait, but gor is gor, but interacting with others and not taking up there time waiting is the polite thing to do
