Here is My topic, if any care to discuss it:
In how you portray Gor, how would you accept a released slave deciding their own freedom?
If a Free Woman did not have papers of manumission or roleplayed with pierced ears/brand/etc, how would you handle it?
As a slave do you feel that option is up to you or would it better to simply shelve the slave character and reinvent as a new Free to avoid the above?

I think, nas, that the basic assumption here is that for some reason the slave has been freed, perhaps without even consulting her. maybe a Master had to leave on-line & didn't want to give her to Someone else, or whatever.

not always, in many instance of wars and such A free woman would beg a kolar so she had a choice of Master or what kind of service she might be in or just so she had food and shelter

its a tricky question....because personally aurora can portray herself as a Gorean slave in her heart....online is a totally different story belonging to a Master.
a bareneck cannot enter the Tavern or the Training yard without risk of forced collaring
what good would a forced collar do online? most times a begged one does not last ...to Masters online...its rare that you see collars last for anylength of time on line

been there nas ~smiles...aurora begged for a collar once with all her heart...and so happy, it lasted a month...He was not ready or prepared to deal with a dedicated slave...confused r/t with gorean r/p and couldnt handle it....it takes a strong Master to be a Master
and an even stronger slave to be dedicated and loving

a gorean slave really has no choice but to protect her own neck and its freedom until she is sure that the relationship will work on line...otherwise she is in and out of collars constantly...we see it all the time

in answer to Your last thought Mistress, dena thinks if one is a true slave, even if they tried to enter as a Free it would eventually show in their writing style. dena can usually spot duallers by the words they use and how they write. sooner or later dena would slip up and use third person of mention her "seductive eyes." *smiles*

but like You had said in a convo with dena Master Dak (and sorry for airing this, but girl thinks it is something ALL Masters should feel) You had said You would not take a girl to the alcoves just because she was yellow or red silks...she must serve well and paint a good picture. Many Men here could care less. dena could do a three post serve with two sentence posts and They see heat and red and off to the alcoves We go. that's not what Gor is about...or at least dena hopes that's not what it's about.
