Aye, Masters also can show some creativity not just in Their entering or leaving, but also in Their interact with a slave who is serving Them.
To merely say this like

To flicka's mind, for convenience the steps have been broken into 5 or 6 steps. Numbered 1 t0 5, they could just as easily have been broken into A,B,C.
also if you read it carefully, the break points are quite arbitary.

in all the books of JN slaves permanently fight for being better than another slave, the count any kind ogfsign for being superior about their fellow slaves. Each little bit of extra attention a slave receives froma Master makes them glow with feeling superior to her sisters, as JN describes it.
That is more female principle than proncess principle as i think.
It is one of the tasks of the Masters to show them slaves that they are all in equal places, even when getting a bit more attention sometimes.
