Ok, since none here have a topic, I'm going to bring one up that was sent to me by mail.
Now, Kyoto, onto the 'winds' comment. It's actually a shortened version of a VERY common onlineism. The actual statement is: "Winds, Steel, and above all honor to you." and to date, I myself have never seen it in the books...however, as someone who, on the whole has learned to dislike onlineisms, this one, in my opinion is pretty harmless, and no big deal in my opinion. I find I get more annoyed with the A/all, Y/you statements, and stuff like make believe Gorean words like 'jashi' and 'avan'shae' being used. These are just throwbacks to the old days mostly, when online Gor wasn't as book oriented as we in GS have over the last couple years aimed GS. Personally (and I don't believe I'll be available to make it tonight) I would very much prefer to see this as a topic brought up and discussed at forum, mainly to make it known to those who might NOT know that such things are onlineisms, and are mostly unnecessary. Just a few thoughts from me...for whatever they're worth.

The point is there's nothing like the tea ceremony in the books, it's a total online invention. Here's what John Norman had to say about it in the "Norman Notes" section of the WoG site:
"whereas it is an interesting idea that the three tiny cups of Bazi tea might be taken to represent the three stages of life, there is nothing to that effect, as I recall, in the Gorean books. Also, if there is, it would be too bad, and incongruent with the Gorean reality, given the stabilization serums.
Presumably the three stages of life would be youth, middle age, and old age. The stabilization serums would presumably make old age, as we normally think of it, quite rare on Gor. One supposes that in some cases, the stabilization serums might not work, or the subject’s system, unfortunately, might reject them, or such."
