it was an interesting experiment for a start
The first one was about having some fun and that trapped slave & Loki did good work on it
may be with the people taking part getting more experience and practise it can turn over to some gorean scenes too

ok Captain, here's the condensed version...
I felt it went very well for the first try with us all role playing together, it seems people where a little lost in the beginning, but found a groove near the middle and things fell right into place.
its gonna be a little difficult as not everyone is used to role playing with everyone else, outside of the tavern, with practice and patience it will go a lot easier for each person....
and my hats off to those playing the NPC, I thought it was just one, but later learned that it was a few, I’m sure it was pain, but it definitely added a different dimension to the role, well done.

A lot of people were outside their comfort zone, and with each story line that came out I consider there will be more role play opportunities

greeting a newcomer before the initial first post is fine, Ive done it many a time, sometimes they are just lurkers, and dont intent to answer, or sometimes they just want to watch and stay out of the way and will post when they feel comfortable, I dont think they is a rule saying you have to wait for a newcomer to post before you greet them.

There is a protocol posted on the GS web pages to wait for a person to post an entrance before greeting them.
I can see greeting a brand new person with out an entrance might help with a new person.

but many that enter dont wish to talk, you can usually tell by the name they choose to use.

All Free Person greet other Free Person first, with "Tal" the gorean equivalent of hello, slaves are greeted with "greetings". To show the proper respect, if there is a Captain of Gorean Shores present, He should be greeted first before all others. Any of the Council of Captains would be happy to help you and answer any questions you may have. An Advisor would also be able to help you with questions. Do NOT greet a personal slave before she is granted permission into the tavern and a tavern slave before she has posted an entrance. Its also best to save your "Tal" or greeting until a Free Person and/or slave has posted an entrance.
