I floated the idea of having a couple of other events in GS besides a Market Day with the rest of the Council. I am interested in getting feed back from both free and slaves regarding it.
A dance night. We did a few dance nights last year and had a couple of slave classes geared towards dancing just prior to them.
Port Kar is known to have the best dancing slaves of all of Gor. I think GS should have the best dancers online. It can only happen if we focus on it.
The other is a night of sparring.
Please let me know if there is interest in either, both or perhaps something else.

An observation from me. I have noticed that in the last two weeks almost 80 people have signed up for the new message board. Some are from other sites but most are from GS.. We have a strong base of people to draw from. Getting them in here is a different story.

I realize I'm not here a whole lot, but, the other day, I decided to come in. No one was in the Piazza, where I am allowed to be, but there were a few in the Tavern, so, I sat in the Piazza, and multitasked, since I was there alone, refreshed every minute or so, and not ONE greeting,
I don't expect Men to come out of the tavern to sit in the Piazza with a FW. I purposely did not whisper a greeting to any, to see if anyone would even notice, and of course, they didn't..*chuckling*

Mistress Laroona, You can't make rules for people to follow when they are NOT in GS. As Master Rollo has said, GI is part of poolside and though it is a walk way TO GS it is not PART of GS. If a slave is there, they are there, an there might be reasons for them to be doing so. i don't see how You can be successful in forcing someone to be where they don't want to be, specially in an online circumstance.

Travelling
The council has spoken about traveling to the Gorean Inn in poolside and it has been agreed that all slaves may travel to that site whether white, yellow or red, as long as you remember that Gorean Shores comes first. As for the question that was brought up at the slave class, if someone whispers to you, it is your choice whether you whisper back to them or not, if not you just push the ignore button and if they come into the inn to annoy you, the button will do the same thing in the room as in whispers. The only thing that council controls in the Gorean Inn is the Gorean Shores slaves themselves. If any wish to talk to the Slave Master or any of the other Captains about this do not hesitate to contact one of them.

I actually don't really see much of a problem in regards to the slaves in any case.
The slaves at present currently outnumber the active Men - 23 listed personals, 13 listed GS slaves and you are lucky to get 3 or 4 Men in the Tavern a day, so that leaves a lot of bored slaves in the Tavern.
I can understand why they want to go to a room full of people to actually be able to interact and have no problem with a GS slave serving in another room if there is noone in GS. I suggest to some that they sit in a private room in GS and refresh now and again so that they can then leave the room they are in to come serve someone in GS instead.
