gal had an idea...she knows thats alil scary...but for that room only and no other place, perhaps we could use NPC's or even be another character just to make it interesting for things like force collarings or such...like our own character and one other that might even get killed that week...gal hopes she is expressing this clearly?

to Me a npc is a character that is important to r/p, but is imaginary, you had it to your r/p while you play yourself, not you coming in under a different name to play that character.....

you could just say a sleen is charging you and you pull your sword and drive it through its heart....but what if the sleen is an unknown and you don't know for sure what the sleen is doing, it might be charging or it might be sneaking but you gotta be ready because your not the one making the sleens decisions Master...does that make sense Master?

Ive always used a npc in r/p as a character you type for, but not actually assuming his identity and being him as in entering the room as him. like for a kur, if i was gonna r/p finding a kur in the marshes, id log in as me, and type for both...but thats just me, there's no chance of dualing, but I have heard of some people doing it the way it is being described, say in a r/p game where a nother person is actually needed to play

we all know that if you come in as guest, others can trace you and know who you are, its not that we would be hiding, it would only be for the sake of interesting role play at that specific time....that secondary character can totally change the following time to match the rp scenario

for the people that are needed extra, I would type for them, it wouldnt be under a differnt log in name, it would be me adding to my typing, with is character....say if you, me Laroona galah, fidget, nassy and stormy where r/p, and we needed one more...i would type that person right after i typed...and if you need him you would type for him after you typed for yourself...etc etc

there could be times that we agree to meet in Port Kar for such and such scenerio and rt bites the butt of many and we end up with only 3 ppl...its gonna be hard to rp something interesting, but if that 3 turn into 6, then it could feel more like an action movie? heheheheheee isn't that the depths of role play?
