the flip side of that question is how often do the slaves offer any particular dishes.. say a specialty of the day .. or something along those lines? It could also be encouraged by the slaves to generate variety also.. methinks anyway

I know when I test the girls I have them serve a couple types of food. So the GS girls do know what they are. I am not sure the free know though.

if I go in to a restaurant, I'll ask what is good, what does the waiter/tress personally suggest, etc. if they don't suggest anything, i'm more often than not going to get a good old fashioned cheeseburger. if they suggest the filet mignon, because they are particularly tempting, they have just upped the price of a ticket...sold a product to me, and made their restaurant more money

I had no problem finding the menu. When I first came to GS, I took the time to familiarize myself with the Information Pages. Right there, it points you to the menu. I have often pulled it up to make up my mind, and to know how much to pay. It's a matter of people taking the time to get familiar with the site.

again, restating what I said earlier doesn't necessarily have to be something posted for a specialty. if a slave would suggest "the vulo is about done", OR, "just put a fresh Bosk roast on the spit", or, "a whole tarsk was slow roasted, all day yesterday, and is so tender it's falling off the bone"... something alone those line might get more interest in ordering more than a drink

ummm... unless i'm off iin left field and not reading right.. the issue wasn't actually the ordering of food and drink, but, of the things ON the menu, and what they were, how they were used in Gorean nature, what foods they are comparable to on Earth, so we can role play a bit better when we DO order food
