~reading the topic~ well we have a structure for slaves, ie; slave class but for Free Persons, it is a lot more flexible.
As a slave this girl should find it hard to "direct" a Free Person to do anything. But having said that well, ~little moue~ flicka is flicka and if the Free Person shows interest in our home, flicka will talk Their hind leg off about Gorean ways. And give Them the urls of the web pages and the cork boards.

When I started, it were at AlterRealm and there Gor was much more stricter and a Man or Woman had to prove they were worthy to belong to camp, tavern, or home...
They did so much in same way that slaves learned to go from white to yellow to red then to black if they were worthy...

Shadowglade took me under his wing and I answered to him as well as tested by he that I knew Gor... and what I did not know, he pointed out direction for me to find out and it were my responsibility to learn it. I know when I were new or even now when I return from long hiatus. I am made to feel like stranger, most men will not speak up or visit another man. No gain, no cybering or furring involved. Few if any slaves will even greet and have me feel welcome. Well those that do not know me, the ones that do save for couple have always tried make me feel welcome.
So personally I believe to hold "new" visitors to any code is wrong. Just simply say hello and welcome to GS then have them ask questions if they any and go from there.

A Warning and Some Advice
In Gorean the word for Stranger is the same as for Enemy. If you are a Stranger, you can be assertive, but do so with respect for those who are frequent patrons. Nothing will get you into trouble sooner than striding in as a Stranger and acting as if you own the tavern and all its slaves. Yes, be gorean. Make your presence known. But do it with deference to those who call Gorean Shores home, or your stay may not be pleasant and it may not be long. When you are no longer a Stranger, you will find the goreans here to be among the most loyal on Gor.

Agreed Keeper, it is. However in this realm and I mean by realm, I mean virtual. Most do not reach out to greet or be friendly unless there is a gain from it. Many times my greetings fall to deaf ears, especially if it is a man.
