Welcome everybody to this weeks edition of the GS forum.... we will follow the same rules as always... everybody gets to have their say...even slaves, as long as it is done in a respectful manner.. once we start, keep the personal chit chat and greetings and such in WHISPERS so as to take some of the burden off of the scribes... anybody with a topic, question, or anything they wish to discuss, PM it to ME, and I will bring them up as time allows.. Okay ??? lets begin......

As nobody has PM'ed me yet with a topic, I will use this time to announce a small change to the GS general rules that has been voted on by the Council... in a nut shell, because I don't have the exact words right now.... we have decided that no longer will any FW or free neck slave be allowed to cause * trouble * or be disrespectful in ANY GS room, and then * run * to one of our own NO Kill/Capture rooms and be safe from retribution.... ANY GS Captain... with proof such as C+Ps of misconduct, can follow said FW or slave into ANY GS room, and either kill or capture her with the Councils full backing....

The Council of Captains of Gorean Shores has full authority in any and all rooms in Gorean Shores to enforce any rule by any means deemed appropriate. This enforcement may include but is not limited to face stripping, capture or even death.
Such drastic measures taken in a no kill/no capture zone can only be taken by an Active Captain. If this does occur, it will require approval by the Council by means of a majority vote.
If possible, the approval will come before such action is taken, but in some cases, immediate action may be required. If so, a C&P of the event must be submitted to the Council for a ruling.

at slave class we discussed something that many and most did not know and gal thought it would be something good for everyone to know...the subject was how long a slave should wait in an alcove for a disappearing Master to come back....some thought 5 ehns, some ten and some thought even longer....but the old rule use to be and in my opinion, still holds true is...when his name disappears from the bottom list (cont)

this would also apply to a girl serving a drink to a disappearing Master, she is still at his serve and she don't know how long to wait at his feet while others in the room are going unserved....once again, when his name disappears on the bottom list, then he is considered gone....and only then should a girl offer serve to others

gals only problem with 5 ehns is that a Master could be taking a quick phone call or such....he might even still be updating to see how the serve is going, but can't type cause of the rt distraction....there could be other situations besides phone calls too...but if he was pulled away long enough he disappears from the room, then he is truly gone

Basically, if this has been the rule.. ( even if only the rule of thumb ) in the past.... I see no need or reason the change it now.... I support this time frame as the way to measure if a slave can or should move on to another action...... if the free comes back, then they can start over also...... no harm, no foul....
