Kazar, Gor is not Earth, and on Gor there were no "Second Chances" AGain, Earthen thoughts intruding on Gor, as Jarl Thorrn said earlier. And yes in some cases a second chance could be given, depending on the offence and the cause for it. But too many treat a Gorean home as a revolving door, coming in and "playi8ng" until they get in t rouble, then leaving and coming back in a few days with a new name.

Very good rule not to allow persons with dual names or change them willy nilly. That will cause lots of troubles in the short and the long run.
That is why My topiuc was about doing this formally with the consent of the Council of Captains, not other way without knowdledge and agreemant of the Captains should be done in this.

In some places like army basesALL people have the same IP.
In other places around rthe world the IP adresses of people change with each time they turn down the internet connection/router and start it again.
