I don't think that a Free should be ordering a slave to come to GS to serve via MSN, Yahoo or AIM, though. That to me is an intrusion on their personal time. I agree with Bahrook. If the girl is already logged onto the site, then I don't see anything wrong with a Free PMing a slave to come and serve.

Permission to PM/Whisper
Permission to PM another individual should be sought in the open before initiating any private conversations. First, this allows all in Gorean Shores to know that certain individuals are busy in private discussions. Secondly, some slaves are not permitted to PM, even to tell another than they cannot respond. Slaves should never PM a Free Person without seeking permission first. The only exception to these rules are the Captains of Gorean Shores and the first girl GSFG of the tavern. Typically, they will PM others to ensure compliance with the protocols and rules

Master Rollo...a lot of times, slaves may go to the slave kennels for example, as none are about...does not mean they do not wish to serve, but saw no one...a Free enters, unless she refreshes and looks she would not know...the same applies when in the Tavern...there may be 5 slaves there and 2 Masters...they do not realize there are Free in the Piazza cause they forget to look...
those are more the examples of why a girl should be allowed to be PMed and asked if she is available to serve
