I forget how many times the scribes have posted please advise us the collaring dates, simple examples have been given
the reason also is two fold
that there are records in sent and received emails
unless the scribes are notified these are NOT being put up
all it requires is a few short words in an email
as there is more than one scribe doing these alterations it is common courtesy
WE do NOT always have the ability to drag such off the message boards... nor should we
again another reason .. if the boards go down information is lost

The simple answer would seem that no matter where the collaring is done, that a C+P be kept to show for it... then a simple message can be put on our board... not necessarily the WHOLE action, but just a * Master A collared slave b today... * sort of thing....

Actaully it wasn't a raid. They just popped in for a bit.. They didn't say much and left. I found out later they planned to get drunk in GS and then raid elsewhere but since their FW were not allowed in the tavern they left.

So, to make a long stroy short... IF GS is * raided *.. the slaves should ALL.... ( tavern owned and private, ) run to the kennels and hide... and NOT acknowledge ANY capture .... the FW should run or hide and also NOT acknowledge any capture.. the men may either ignore the raiders, or fight them... as they choose ... if * killed * in such a fight, their death is a non event so they need not worry about it...just as any raiders that they kill would not accept the deaths or such .... so it equates into a big shit strom for a little while, and then back to business as ususal... and little more....

Here is a rough outline. Any or all of it can be changed. Please make suggestions. Gorean Shores 9th Birthday Bash
Friday December 1st and Saturday December 2nd
During the festival all of Gorean Shores will be a No Kill / No Capture and FW won't be restricted from any of the rooms. Slaves will not have to beg to enter or leave.
All times are North American Central Time Zone (GS room time)
Slaves will be serving drinks and food from platters.
DANCE CONTEST
The girls will be required to e mail their dance by midnight Thursday December ? to gsfestival@hotmail.com . The dances will then be forwarded to the judges with the names of the slave replaced with a number designation. The girls name should not be used in the dance. This is to make the judging fair and it gives the judges Friday and part of Saturday to review the dances. The slaves should perform their dance publicly some time during the festival. This is open to slaves from out side of GS.
Three categories to be judged are: best first dance, best yellow silk dance, best red silk dance
and best open dance. Open dance is a free form dance to be judged on humor, imagination and entertainment.
Judges for the slave dancing are: TBA.
FW dance contest. The FW are free to be imaginative in their dance and dress for the dance with out repercussions. Judged by TBA.
Friday night Sparring with short swords
Bouts will be 3 posts. Standard three/two actions, 10 minute time limit per post. The sparring will take place in the training yard. This will be run by TBA. Men interested in participating send an e mail with your availability to gsfestival@hotmail.com
Friday: 4:00PM Senior Captain Rollo will open the festival
Followed by a white silk slave opening raffle. (If we have one to raffle) The girl; tba Raffles sold for 3 tarsk bits. Only one raffle per man. Must be present to win. Raffles may be purchased from any GS Council member.
Followed by slave and FW dancing.
7:00PM Name that slaves
4 or 5 slaves are chosen to enter the Tavern using the names Slave A, Slave B, Slave C, Slave D, Slave E. They each serve a drink to someone. When they are done the Free try and guess who each slave was.
Followed by more slave and FW dancing.
9:30PM Slave, Meat Toss Contest – Run by TBA
The bosk will be soaked in paga and kalana.
The most creative players, with at least three posts each.
It will be played out as done in the below quotes from the books by John Norman:
