The Council is working that out now.... it seems that in one place in the homepage and rule, the order is one way, and in another place it is different...so we need to decide just which way we think it should be, and delete the other...... But for now, how about we just try to NOT get our collective knickers in a twist over what is essentially a MINOR point... It maybe my fault there is some discrepancy as the 'new slave rules' omitted Advisors, (that page is now lost) and to my way of thinking as Advisors are on Council then that is how it should be the old pages were a mess of inconstancies and some were corrected at some point....
on the newer page it reads
Greeting Order
You are expected to greet the Council of Captains first, including Advisors, then Captain Emeritus, if any are present. Next you will greet any Pledged Male Patrons of Gorean Shores then other Masters, any Pledged Free Women of Gorean Shores present, then any other Free Women. They are to be greeted before you may greet any kajirae. Do not greet fellow slaves until they have been given permission to enter and are in the room.
For personally owned kajira if your Owner is in the room and they are the One that granted entry, greet them first and ask permission to greet the others. After getting permission to greet, use the above order of greeting also. If Your Owner is in Gorean Shores but another Master/Mistress has given you permission to enter, go to your Masters/Mistresses feet, greet Them then beg your Owner to greet the others. Once permission is granted, you may then greet in the order above. If your Master/Mistress is not in the room, please follow the above order

What it is is simply a screw up...... at one time, the council said it should be one way... then later said it has different, but the first way was not removed from the records.... BOTH ways are right.... and BOTH ways are wrong technically.... so the Council will make it ONLY one way NOW... and clear up all this crap....okay ??????

Okay... it has been decided.... the order will be 1. Active Captains of the Council... 2. Active Advisors to the Council... 3. Captains Emeritus's of the Council... and the rest of the list stays the same.. Okay ????? THIS is officially the way it will be done from NOW on.... and any past mistakes will be null and void... no punishment, no hassles.... is that alright with everybody ?????
