Alright folks, we have two topics, but since they both deal with the message boards, Im going to bring them both up, and we can take them one at a time. First, there was a message on the boards concerning changes to the way slaves are to serve. I have investigated this, and it seems our illustrious ex-Captain Kyoto ok'd the changes some time back and it was never added to the homepages, nor any word left to those of us who now sit upon the Council was left. So, all I can say for now is that until Thorfinn, Rollo and I have gone over them, and decided whether they should stand or not, they stand. The new rules are posted on the board, and until you hear from the Council, please abide by them.
Though I am interested to hear your thoughts on those changes. hayal if you would please, post those from the board, and we can discuss them

1. No more checking the rim of the vessel on your flesh. Eye inspection is all that is called for now to make sure there is no imperfections or anything to harms ones lips.
2. No more sliding the vessel long ones body before offering it. Now you hold the vessel to ones slave belly for an ehn before raising it to your lips and placing a kiss to the side or the belly of the vessel. do not kiss the rim and do not hold the vessel at your slave heart. remember, its now to slave belly, then straight up to lips

i like checking the rim..depending on where on your bod you check it..it has meaning...
and as for the second one..whats the rush to get the serve over with by taking stuff out?
if your gonna take stuff out..edit out whatever we are doing when we disappear from site(in the chillery or wherever) not what we do at a Masters feet *smiles* in my opinion anyway

*nods* Well like I said Blade, until Rollo, Thorfinn and I have a chance to consider them I think it would be safer for everyone and alot less confusion for the trainers, who apparently perscribe to it, to follow these restrictions. For MY part, I don't like the changes, and I rather find them silly, but that's my own opinion, and IF indeed a Captain ok'd this in the past, I do not wish to follow that particular example and overturn it without the entire Council's full support.

there is the option of harta serves... I have seen serves in some sites more like a BDSM serve... grab a vessel, fill it and offer in one post (not very nice but commmon) GS is unique in their serves,

I will expand on my thoughts on GS serves, they have been around and been unique for more years than I can recall... but they are done with heart and beauty... and as such can be considered different and therefore not the "cookie cutter syndrome"... but shows lots of training and dedication to gorean slavery

The second topic about the boards is more of a concern than a topic, but I will bring it up, and share my own opinions with you and then you may feel free to discuss. Board wars: Bickering inappropriate posts to the board? (The question I was given was: Is this something the Captains should deal with?) The answer to that, is yes, it IS something the Captains should deal with, and it is something we -are- dealing with.
*I* personally hate bickering on the boards. I find it creates drama, and promotes conflict, which kill morale, and over all tend to dishearten any home. If people can't get along and be civil with one another, they simply should not speak. Period. That is my own opinion. As to what constitutes a board war, that is a more subjective question. What *I* would consider bickering might just be good natured discussion between two passionate individuals. That is why GS has a COUNCIL instead of an UBAR...if we had an Ubar, HIS will would be law, and that would be that. There would be no checks and balances. The real question I believe however was, "Should the Captains be doing something about it?" the answer to that question is YES. We are doing something about it, and simply because we do not include everyone in our actions and in our plans does not mean things are not being done. We often do not choose to make a public display of our governance of these things because it is OUR job to be doing them, and no one elses concern. Trust your Council, if you do not trust your Council then your pledge to it is meaningless. You are always free to dissent of course, but as long as you dissent respectfully, there should be no problem.
Now then, that is my opinon....feel free to share yours.

Alright new topic. This one is for the slaves, but I think we all have opinions on it. I know *I* do. Slaves often use pet names amongst themselves, such as sissie, sissa, sister, etc etc etc. What are the thoughts about these?
I personally find them harmless, and often terms of endearment. Unless someone dislikes the name they are called, I don't see any problem with it. However, *I* am not a slave, and can tell me people what to call me and what not to call me to my face, so I am not the best to share opinions on this subject....alright...go

well, in anything, folks, if you don't like something someone says to you, you have the right to mention your discomfort to them. If you are a slave, your right to do that of course, does not exist in a VT sense, but behind the screen we're all free people. I've found that MOST people will respect another's wishes, slave OR free, if you make your discomfort about something known. If they don't there are other ways to deal with it....
