First, I was able to get clarification from Sandman regarding Free Companionship in Gorean Shores... it is the same as in Port Kar in the books, a Free Companionship is not legally recognized...
a Free Man can have a Free Woman, she is referred to as his woman.... Xertog and Sandman have both had women while here in Gorean Shores

In GS when you enter any room other than this you are in "character"
does anyone check with those they play with as to what overall moods are of each involved?
wondering if a mood check might help thwart misunderstandings that could lead to more unexpected and unwanted misunderstandings down the road...all in the name of keeping friends rather than going through on and off friendships....
Or, since this IS roleplay, should we all just check our "Moods" at the door, and play strictly to the current "mood" of our character?

when you are collared by the Captains and wear the GS-collar you can not take it off anymore and you have to show it
the GS-O collar is not yet a collar of ownership
it is a collar of protection´in kill and capture zones
so you don´t need this in the Gorean Inn, i´d assume you wouldn´t even need to show it when you enter the Piazza in GS

it is role play in mnay aspects but it can also have rt effects on how you feel. Wwe wouldn´t play the rp if it wouldn´t be something Wwe feel the need for to play , at least in vt when Wwe can´t or wouldn´t dare to do in rt. And for some it is a lot like rt too because the live close to it

Well We all often ask each other how we are and so on, and it is often not really clear, even to the speaker, whether we are referring to r/t or v/t. *chuckle* And of course if we keep it to whispers, that alone doesn't interfere with role-play, though it may distract the speaker, similar to foks speaking on their cell-phones when attending a meeting, event, or eve a dinner out in public.

When e.g. a Master and a slave are together often or for a loonger time they will see each other also as rt persons and care for that.
